Catalog description

This course is a continuation of the study of the art and craft of choreographing dances. Movement compositions are created and analyzed considering three key elements of dance: space, time, and energy. The creative process will be discussed, and improvisation will often be used as a creative tool. Various studies will provide students an opportunity to create solos, duets, trios, and/or small group compositions. (CSU)
