Ballet III

Catalog description

An intermediate/advanced level technique course that builds on the theories and principles introduced in Dance 088B and focuses on developing intermediate/advanced skills related to ballet. This course covers the history, intermediate/advanced theories and vocabulary of ballet. Students will learn the fundamental principles of physical fitness and their impact on life-long health and wellness. Students will be required to attend one live dance concert produced by the dance department and one department sponsored master class. (CSU/UC) (AA/AS-7B)
