Jazz III

Catalog description

An intermediate level technique class that builds on the theories and principles introduced in Dance 084B and focuses on developing intermediate/advanced level skills related to jazz dance. Discussions will cover the history and theories of jazz dance as well as intermediate/advanced level jazz dance vocabulary. Students will learn the fundamental principles of physical fitness and their impact on life-long health and wellness. Students will be required to attend one live dance concert produced by the dance department, and one department sponsored master class. (CSU/UC) (AA/AS-7B)
