This course provides practice in advanced respiratory procedures and therapeutic techniques in the critical care environment. Therapeutic management of critical pulmonary patients is practiced under direct instructor supervision. Assessment of patient pulmonary status by the student is required prior to the convening of clinical. (CSU)

Required on-campus class sessions on Thursday, October 8th, 2026, and Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026, from 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Location TBD. Thirteen hours of lab per week to be arranged by the instructor for clinicals at the hospitals on Tuesdays, and/or Thursdays, and/or Saturdays between the hours of 6:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. See lead instructor for information on the first class meeting.
