Catalog description
A general introduction to the principles of cognition. This course examines how we think in order to better understand behavior. Topics covered include theoretical and research approaches to the study of cognitive neuroscience, perception, attention, memory, knowledge, visual imagery, language acquisition and development, creativity, problem solving, decision making and consciousness. (CSU/UC)(AA/AS-4, CSU-4, UC-4)
