Catalog description

This course covers theory, research, and application of ethical one-to-one communication practices in various and diverse interpersonal relationships including in personal, professional, and social situations. This course will help you gain the knowledge and skills needed to develop, maintain, and strengthen your relationships by learning about such topics as identity, emotional intelligence, perception, listening, nonverbal behaviors, conflict, and culture which you can apply in your personal, professional, and social relationships. Formerly COMM 120. Not open to students with credit in COMM 120. (C-ID COMM 130) (CSU/UC) (AA/AS-A2, CSU-A1, IGETC-1C)
