Catalog description
Categorical Data Analysis. This course is intended to serve as an introduction to topics associated with categorical data analysis. This includes an introduction to various study designs, a number of distributions and tests commonly used for statistical inference, the analysis of contingency tables, and a comprehensive exploration of logistic regression and generalized linear models (GLMs). Data from a variety of disciplines will provide context for these topics, with a special emphasis on using the R language for analyses. Prerequisite: STA-335 or MAT-335.
