Catalog description

This course is for students who completed SPN 105 or were placed at the 106 level by the Spanish Department. Through total immersion, students will develop communicative competence in order to become active users of the Spanish language and gain confidence in speaking and interacting in real life situations. Students will gain cultural competence in the Spanish-speaking world, including the US, by reading cultural texts, researching cultural topics, and learning about Spanish-speaking peoples and their societies, histories, and cultures. Prerequisite: Spanish 105 or placement by the department. STAFF.
