Catalog description
Introductory Special Topic: Love. What does it mean to live a life of love, both personally and publicly? We will explore this and related questions alongside extraordinary thinkers and activists, including James Baldwin, bell hooks, Martin Luther King, and Thich Nhat Hanh. Our goal will be to learn from them and with each other about what it means, in practice, to acknowledge our own suffering and the suffering of others and maintain a commitment to living a life of love. Prerequisite: None.
