Catalog description
This course increases students' communicative and analytical skills in French, focusing on a particular site (such as Paris) or a particular period of history (such as France during the 1960s) to discuss a variety of important texts, films, historical documents, or visual media. The class continues to review and refine students' grammatical skills while enabling students to deepen their cultural understanding, and learn and express more nuances of the French-speaking world. Prerequisite: French 221, or by placement. STAFF.
