Catalog description
Offered only in the fall, this course is designed for students who have already taken some French in high school but are still establishing the basics of French grammar and communication. The course is also suitable for students who have studied another Romance language (such as Spanish or Portuguese) and wish to begin learning French. The course covers the equivalent of FRN 101 and FRN 102 in a single semester. Prerequisite: Grinnell Placement Test or consultation with department. STAFF.
