Seminar Economic History

Catalog description
In this seminar, students will read, discuss, and present on recent research in the field of economic history. Topics may include unemployment, household income, labor market structures, institutions, human capital, migration, and inequality, with a focus on historical episodes in Western Europe and the United States. Throughout the semester, students will engage in the research process as they ask and answer their own substantive economic history research question. Prerequisites: ECN 280 and ECN 286.
