Catalog description
This course addresses foundational ethical considerations and project development practices in digital scholarship. Students in this course will engage with scholarship in critical digital humanities and digital studies to illuminate the foundational technical, ethical, and epistemological concepts of digital project formulation. Learning outcomes include recognizing the necessary connections between digital humanities and social justice, anti-racist practice, and feminist practice; developing basic understanding of methods and tools in the field; and learning basic project management skills. Half-semester deadlines apply. Prerequisite: Second-year standing.
