Investigations of the cellular and molecular basis of organismal structure and function, including studies of how organisms acquire and expend energy, acquire and transport materials, regulate internal conditions, transmit information, reproduce, develop, grow, and move. Three lectures and one scheduled lab each week. Prerequisite: Biology 150, Chemistry 129, and completion of or concurrent registration in Chemistry 221. STAFF.
