Brazilian Portuguese IV

Catalog description

ALSO Brazilian Portuguese 4 is a self-instructed language learning program for students who have completed ALS-113 or an equivalent course. Students follow a syllabus to independently learn the language and complete assignments. Students also attend communicative class sessions led by their native-speaking peer tutors. While the course covers all communication modes, students will focus on interpersonal oral communication. Students are expected to achieve oral proficiency of Intermediate Mid-High on ACTFL scale. Prerequisite: ALS-113 and second-year standing.
