First of a two-term course sequence that explores theories related to human behavior in interaction with the environment, within the context of a strengths and empowerment perspective. Emphasis on knowledge acquisition of the bio-psycho-social development of diverse individuals and families. Examines the effects of discrimination and oppression on human well-being.
