Catalog description
Surveys the nature and course of human cognitive development from infancy to early adulthood. Content covers genetic, environmental and biological influences on development of mental processes such as vision and other perceptual abilities, attention, memory, language, problem solving and reasoning, and social cognition (thinking about social phenomena). Discussion of cultural influences on cognition is woven throughout.
