Catalog description

Provides the foundations of orthopedic physical therapy evaluation of musculoskeletal problems and screening for disease. Using a regional approach, students will learn the signs, symptoms, and special tests for common musculoskeletal problems followed by appropriate treatment interventions. Focuses on the areas of the cervical spine and upper extremities. Clinical case studies and critical thinking exercises will be integral parts of this course.
