Reviews the latest trends and statistics in community health in an effort to effectively address health issues facing today's communities. With an emphasis on developing the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in health education, this course covers topics such as epidemiology, community organizations, program planning, minority health, healthcare, mental health, environmental health, drugs, safety and occupational health. This is the Writing-Intensive Junior Seminar.
