Introduces macroanalysis of the U.S. healthcare delivery systems and its five major parts: a) determinants of health and healthcare services; b) organization of healthcare services; c) financing of healthcare services; d) coordination and control of these three systems; and finally, e) a synthesis: reorganization of healthcare services.
