Catalog description

Explores the genres and criticism of literature written for children through the lenses of cultural diversity, social and emotional learning, and content area connections. Also examines state and national standards and explores options for making instructional decisions. This course may be used to fulfill a General Education Humanities requirement and meets the Illinois Human Relations mandate.
