Provides supervised experiences in infant-toddler classrooms to observe, facilitate, and assess the learning and development of children ages birth to 3 years. Includes planning and teaching developmentally appropriate lessons and activities to infants and toddlers. Focuses on creating and maintaining appropriate environments, establishing routines, and implementing positive guidance strategies. Emphasizes reflection on experiences in the field, as well as the knowledge and skills of each candidate. Integrates research-based strategies in the classroom. Fieldwork: once a week for each week in the semester.
