Examines current trends in testing and the specific role of tests in the bilingual classrooms, including content-based instruction. Evaluates selection and interpretation of language, achievement, diagnostic, and intellectual assessments for limited English proficient students. Also analyzes current trends and issues relevant to assessment of bilingual students. Requires 20 clock-hours of field experience.
