Explores basic ceramic processes and techniques of building sculptures, vessels, and functional objects with clay. Covers basic methods of handbuilding (coil, pinch, slab), glaze application, and firing techniques. Requires 3 hours lecture/3 hours Studio Lab (6 contact hours per week).
