This course introduces students to the basic concepts and processes of descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics include the collection, organization, and graphical representation of data, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, the normal distribution, sampling distributions, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing for population means, and linear regression and correlation.
