Catalog description

This course examines evidence-based approaches to wellness through informed life decision-making. Students will explore the multidimensional concept of wellness and its integration with physical fitness, nutritional science, psychological well-being, and stress management techniques. Emphasis will be placed on contemporary health challenges, including chronic disease prevention, healthy aging processes, and critical evaluation of health information. Students will develop personalized wellness strategies grounded in current research from health psychology, exercise science, and preventive medicine.
