Catalog description
This course teaches students concepts of growth and development throughout the lifespan, drawing on major theoretical positions. Students will examine the development and learning from infancy to advanced old age including childhood, adolescence, middle adulthood, late adulthood, and geriatrics. Students will discuss how to help patients maneuver through various life events based on their developmental stage as well as how to navigate death and dying.
