Catalog description

This course will introduce students to behaviors and skills needed to function in the role of a clinically competent PN. Students will explore the expectations of a PN in academic and professional environments including interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, integrity, and compassion. Scope of practice, safety standards, and adherence to applicable laws will also be examined.
