Catalog description
This course introduces students to the basic principles of respiratory care physics. Topics include work, energy, fluid dynamics, the mechanics of ventilation, and Starling's Law. Dimensional analysis, the kinetic theory of matter, the gas laws, associated chemical laws, and temperature scales will also be explored. Prerequisite: MATH 125. Offered: F, Sp.
