PCA Internship III

Catalog description

The Patient Care Associate Internship III course provides students with additional opportunities to apply their skills in nursing assistance, phlebotomy, and electrocardiograms in an extensive on-site experience in a healthcare setting. Students will demonstrate their knowledge by communicating with a diverse population, practicing patient care techniques, and applying patient safety and wellness in a healthcare system. This internship provides students with valuable job placement assistance.
