PCA Internship II

Catalog description

The Patient Care Associate Internship II course provides students with an extensive on-site experience in a healthcare setting that allows the patient care associate student to utilize currently studied subjects in nursing assistance, phlebotomy, and electrocardiogram. Students will apply their knowledge by communicating with a diverse population, demonstrating foundational patient care techniques, and applying patient safety and wellness in a healthcare system. This internship provides students with valuable job placement assistance.
