Catalog description

The Patient Care Associate Internship course provides students with hands-on training and career-related experience. This course offers students an extensive on-site experience in a healthcare setting that allows the patient care associate student to utilize currently studied subjects and related skills. Students will utilize their knowledge by communicating with a diverse population, demonstrating foundational patient care techniques, and applying patient safety and wellness in a healthcare system. This internship provides students with valuable certification exam preparation and job placement assistance.
