Catalog description

This course will introduce students to public HLTH interventions in community settings. Students will gain an understanding of the role of community HLTH workers particularly their evolving role within the context of HLTHcare reform. Students will get hands on experience with community HLTH education methods and strategies including culturally appropriate educational materials and presentations, community organization and public HLTH advocacy.
