Catalog description

Students will explore occupational HLTH and safety issues including an introduction to occupational HLTH issues in special populations such as the aging workforce. Students will compare and contrast occupational safety and HLTH in the United States and globally including the use of laws and regulations to keep workers safe. Landmark occupational HLTH and safety case studies will be examined including the evolution of major Occupational HLTH organizations such as OSHA and NIOSH. Sp, Su Prerequisite: PBH 200
