Pharm Across the Lifespan

Catalog description

This course provides practicing RNs the opportunity to expand their knowledge of pharmacotherapeutics relevant to both their current practice and other specialties. The focus is on health promotion, treatment of illness, and the restoration of wellness in diverse individuals across the lifespan. Further emphasis will be on the use of human body systems as a framework to explore drugs and common human conditions. Students will also examine the impact of drug therapy on the health of special populations.
