Catalog description
This course provides students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to perform person-centered holistic, comprehensive health assessments on diverse adult clients across the lifespan. The focus is on assessing findings, identifying problems, developing care plans, demonstrating accountability, and evaluating outcomes. Students will develop communication skills that facilitate a partnership approach to quality care. Emphasis is placed on creating a culture of patient safety. Students will also apply knowledge of systems, information, and communication technology to gather information, enter data, and generate knowledge. Offered: F
