Advance Practice Capstone-Clinical Application on Population Health This end of program course is a culmination of the entire program in which FNP and PMHNP students demonstrate advanced practice competencies. The focus is on the achievement of nursing knowledge and skills within the ten domains for nursing (AACN 2021) including knowledge for nursing practice, person-centered care, population health, scholarship for nursing practice, quality and safety, interprofessional partnerships, systems-based practice, information and healthcare technologies, professionalism, personal, professional and leadership development. Students will initiate preparation for board certification exams through diagnostic and comprehensive practice exams followed by remediation of identified content areas based on needs assessment. Students will participate in Immersion Weekends that emphasize opportunities to explore complex case studies and preparation for practice.
