Catalog description
In this fifteen-week course, students will demonstrate five public health competencies by integrating core MPH coursework and concentration course knowledge into a fieldwork experience. The Applied Practical Experience (APE) can be fulfilled through internships, field experience in workplace settings, or project creation under faculty supervision in conjunction with a community partner. The execution of an internship portfolio is developed throughout the internship course. The APE requires formal agreements before placement. Offered: fall, spring, and summer semesters.
