HLTHcare in America has undergone tremendous change and a major change is progressing to ICD-10-CM. This course is designed to give the student the skills to be able to translate a medical diagnosis into alpha-numeric codes in the outpatient setting. Students will learn to read medical documents and convert the medical terms into a diagnostic ICD-10-CM code. Prerequisite: MED 115, BIO 101, HSC 105. Offered: Sp, Su, Fa
