Catalog description

This course builds a strong foundation in algebra and analytical mathematics. Students will solve equations and inequalities (linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic), analyze functions and their transformations, work with polynomial and rational functions, solve systems of equations, and explore conic sections. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving, computational skills, and mathematical modeling using graphing technology to address real-world applications across disciplines.
