Catalog description
This course will equip students with the essential tools and knowledge to provide compassionate and effective mental health care, contributing to the overall well-being of their patients and enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery. In addition, the course will provide an overview of various mental health conditions and their management. Students will focus on therapeutic communication techniques, critical thinking skills, and the Nursing Process while caring for clients and families from culturally diverse backgrounds.
