Catalog description

The human condition is marked by shared universal experiences including birth, growth, emotion, aspiration, conflict, and mortality. By examining music originating on all Earth's continents throughout the history of human beings, a guided analysis of the similarities and differences across many cultures will result in increased understanding and appreciation of this art form. Special attention will focus on current practices that acknowledge how music and sound are important for people's health and wellness.
