This course builds on reading, interpreting, and composition skills. Students explore poetry, prose, and plays while learning to identify themes, symbolism, point of view, and literary theories. Through discussions, assignments, and reflections, students will practice analyzing texts, developing arguments, and clearing expressing their ideas and perspectives in various formats. The course also examines contemporary issues like bias, diverse perspectives, and the role of literature in an evolving world.
