Clinical Nursing I

Catalog description

This course introduces students to a clinical environment to recognize theory from the classroom and skills practiced in the lab to a hands-on experience with a diverse patient population. PN program clinical outcomes aim to develop students for entry-level nursing practice by teaching clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, professionalism, and patient-centered care skills. Students will be assigned to a clinical education setting under the direct supervision of Registered Nurse (RN) clinical instructor.
