Catalog description
This course introduces students to effective communications in work settings. Topics include communicating in one-on-one conversations; participating in and leading meetings; creating e-mail, phone, SOCI media, and written communications; making presentations; and resolving conflicts. Students learn how to be active listeners, interpret body language, tailor communications to different audiences, and other skills. Prerequisite: None. Offered: F, Sp, Su.
