Catalog description
This course provides additional concepts of CNC and the importance of fixtures and tooling and how they interface with Mastercam software. CNC programs will be developed to perform contouring operations for milling machine centers. Application of more complex features will be used to develop G and M codes to produce CNC programs to produce Climb, Pocket and Contour milling. Tooling interface, speed and feed rates will be developed along with X, Y, Z data using the Cartesian coordinate system. Offered: F, Sp, Su.
