Catalog description

This course examines the operations function within the organization from the perspective of the decision maker. Topics such as forecasting, statistical quality control, inventory control, and project management will be studied in detail. Techniques such as linear programming and simulation will be utilized to solve real-world problems in the field. Case studies and journal articles will be used throughout the semester. Prerequisite(s): BUS 598
