An introduction to the sources of American law; the federal and state court system; the judicial process; the law of torts and crimes. Greater emphasis, however, is placed on the formation, operation, and discharge of contracts; the law of sales; commercial paper and ethics. Prerequisite(s): ENG 176, MGT 202
