Art through Time

Catalog description

A survey of global art history in which students are introduced to art and architecture from Prehistory to 1945. The emphasis of this course is on the content, terminology, and style of the major works of art from around the globe. The students will gain an understanding of the historical periods of art and how the art reflects the culture and society in which it was created. Prerequisites: HUM-102 recommended
