This course offers an introduction to writing center theory and tutoring pedagogy, preparing undergraduate students to serve as embedded tutors in English 175: Critical Writing I. Through readings, class discussions, and hands-on practice, students will explore composition theory, peer mentorship strategies, and best practices in academic support. The course emphasizes the development of tutoring techniques that are inclusive, collaborative, and student-centered. Prerequisites: ENG-110, ENG-130 and instructor approval
